Les adjectifs démonstratifs:

MAISON = house  a noun
FAIRE = to make / to do  a verb
GRAND = big / tall  adjective qualificatif : la grande maison
JE = I  personal pronoun ( pro = instead of / noun)
MON = my  adjectif possessif : mon chien

CE = That / this  adjectif demonstratif

There are four demonstrative adjectives:
Owen :
1) « Ce » goes in front of a masculine singular noun starting with a consonant.
Harry :
« Cet » is used in front of a masculine singular noun starting with a vowel or a silent h.
Daragh :
2) « Cette » is used in front of a feminine singular noun.
Aksel :
3) « Ces » is used in front of a plural masculine or feminine noun.

Exercice 12 p252 :
1) This store : Ce magasin.
2) This afternoon: Cet après-midi.
3) These friends: Ces amis.
4) This girl: Cette fille.
5) These video games: Ces jeux videos.
6) This party (up until 15/16 years of age): Cette boum.
7) This evening: Ce soir.
8) This church: Cette église.
9) This hotel: Cet hôtel.
10) These classmates : Ces camarades.
